The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency claimed it really is alarmed in regards to the higher range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to SRD access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The service level established for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for your office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to empower the servicing of all customers read more and boost use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
